The City of Fairfield General Municipal Election is held in November during even-numbered years. Council Members serve for staggered terms of four years. The City of Fairfield consolidates its regular elections with the Solano County Registrar of Voters.

AB 571 Contribution Limits

The City of Fairfield defaults to the State Contribution Limits set by AB 571. The default limit for contributions to city and county candidates subject to AB 571 for 2021-2022 is set at $4,900 per election.
