Drive on sunshine! Look for two solar-powered EV chargers at the train station before the end of 2024! Each unit will accommodate two cars, be able to charge cars day or night, and provide up to 265 miles in a single charge. This is just another step the City is taking in preparation for electric vehicles.

Did you know that the City has fire prevention goats? Just kidding, but really, the sheep, goats and cattle have an uncanny knaaaaack for only eating flammable vegetation! Our grazing program saves water, staff time, and creates a more effective fire buffer that is gentle on our environment. We’ve already completed the “first paaaaass” of abatement (700 acres) but our furry friends will be back in June! Find out more on this edition of Talk Around Town.
