The Fairfield Police Department's Summer Youth Academy is a week-long program offered to FSUSD,TSUD, and residents of Fairfield who are homeschooled between the ages of 12 to 17 years of age who have an interest in learning about Law Enforcement. 

This unique opportunity provides students with a greater understanding of the inner workings of a police department, as well as procedures, as taught by the Law Enforcement professionals themselves. The purpose of the academy is to provide our youth with an opportunity to spend a week gaining insight into the jobs offered through the Fairfield Police Department, and to engage with their peers through team building skills, communication and critical thinking exercises.
