The City of Fairfield will host the 2024 Independence Day Parade in Downtown Fairfield on Thursday, July 4. The theme for this year’s parade is – “An American Journey” 

The Parade will step-off at 10 a.m. from the corner of Webster and Kentucky Street and continue down Kentucky Street to Great Jones, then turn up Texas Street to Washington.

The review stand is located at the intersection of Texas Street and Madison Avenue on the south side of the street. ADA parking is available at the Downtown Theatre parking lot as space allows.

 

Want to participate in the Parade? 

Categories for judging include band, commercial, equestrian, float, military, novelty, vehicle, and walking.

  • Each category’s winner will receive a $150 prize.
  • Sweepstakes and Best Use of Theme will receive a $250 prize.
