Measure P Street Crew SignsIn 2012, the community voted to increase sales tax by 1 cent to fund public safety, street improvements, and critical services for youth, seniors, and our community.

The Measure P Street Team is working hard to fix damaged pavement in older neighborhoods and City-hired contractors are proactively sealing newer roads to help avoid costly future repairs.

Hundreds of potholes have been identified throughout the City of Fairfield and they have each been rated and prioritized based on severity, traffic volume, and location.  The most severe potholes on the most heavily traveled neighborhood streets will be repaired first.

Some neighborhoods have potholes that range from severe to moderate.  The City’s goal is to address all of the potholes, but the most severe will be fixed first.  The ongoing plan is to have our crew visit each neighborhood in town annually.
