Phase 1 - Skate Park Improvements

Description: Improvements include building an access road for emergency vehicles near the skate park area, cleaning and inspecting the skate park elements for structural stability, removing graffiti, and adding fencing and landscaping.

Phase 2 - Dog Park

Description: Improvements include building two new dog parks; one each for small and large dogs, in the northeast corner of the park. Within each dog park, there will be an agility course and shade shelter. Improvements also include a roadway realignment with adjacent pedestrian pathways and a parking lot near the dog parks.

The original outdoor sports courts at Allan Witt Community Park were constructed in 1977 and consisted of eight tennis courts.  With the recent refurbishment, the northerly four existing tennis courts were converted into sixteen pickleball courts; and the southern courts were converted to three tennis courts and a futsal court.   

Phase 3 - All-Inclusive Accessible Playground

Description: Improvements include a large community scale playground for people of all ages and abilities, a restroom, picnic shelter, and parking and drop-off area.

Phase 4 - Softball Fields, East-West Park Road, and Publicly Accessible Multi-Use Field

Description: Proposed improvements include an east-west park road, the publicly accessible fenced field for girls' softball with support facilities, a parking lot, realignment of the park road, multi-use field area, sand volleyball, fitness course/senior fitness, and fitness track loop.
